Physical Pre/Re-hab

Physical rehab and pre-hab (preventative/preparatory exercises to avoid injuries or complications during surgery etc) through corrective-exercises/movement patterns and Myosteopractic bodywork.

Physical complaints, injuries and limitations are addressed with a dynamic, personalised approach. With over 20 years experience in working with all ages and a variety of special needs, the aim is to find a functional and ideally “fun” way to move you closer to your goals. If a movement or habit can be enjoyed, it is more likely to be repeated…this is far more beneficial than a “better exercise” that is avoided or abandoned.

We then progressively move through skills or exercises pitched at a challenging yet pain-free level. Physical and neurological adaptations are achieved more efficiently this way and clients are empowered to adjust their engagement accordingly. Some days they have the energy to work on strength development whereas on busy or “bad” days, they will know of a stretch or breathing-exercise they would choose to implement rather than abandon their rehab process altogether. This adaptability improves adherence to the program yielding better results, faster.

Online sessions or house-calls can be organised in certain circumstances.
